Magento 2

Overview

Magento is an open-source e-commerce platform written in PHP. It is a feature-rich platform that offers flexibility over the look, content, and functionality of an online store. Magento is a popular choice for e-commerce businesses because of its scalability, flexibility, and customisation options. The Magento 2 plugin integrates with the OnlinePay Hosted Checkout to provide a seamless payment experience for your customers.

Prerequisites

Before you begin, ensure you have the following:

  • A Magento 2 Installation (Version 2.1x, 2.3.x or 2.4.x)
  • SFTP (Secure File Transfer protocol), SCP (Secure Copy Protocol), and Shell (command line) access to your Magento server.
  • A Secure Card Capture Key from OnlinePay.
  • A valid 3DS Contract ID to ensure card payments are processed securely.
  • An API key.
  • A Checkout theme. If you have not created your own theme, the default theme will be used.

To begin taking payments, you will need to install the Verifone Hosted Cart Magento plugin, configure it with your OnlinePay settings, and set up webhooks.
