# R.38 OnlinePay

## What's new

### New sign-in experience

* New merchants are now invited to activate their account from the OnlinePay login screen, where they will be able to set up their account using Two-Factor Authentication (2FA). You will need to activate your account by requesting a One-Time Passcode (OTP), which will be sent to your registered email address.\
  We will no longer send activation links via email..

### Changes to Surcharging

* Surcharging is now blocked for Pre-Authentication (Pre-Auth) transactions.

### Orders/Transactions dashboard

* The search bar on the **Commerce > Orders/Transactions** dashboard page no longer searches dynamically. To search for orders or transactions, provide a search value or filter options, then click **Apply**.
* Refunds can now be performed from both **Orders** and **Transactions** views from the **Payment Actions** tab in the information panel.

### Improvements to the UI and mobile experience

* There have been a number of improvements to the user experience when viewing the OnlinePay dashboard web application, or when viewing on mobile devices.
